New in UK Cinemas: June 2026
Pictured: The Furious (2026)

Here is what is worth keeping an eye on at the cinema across the UK in June 2026. I have stuck to the releases most people will actually have on their radar, the bigger titles and the ones building a real head of steam, rather than listing every last thing playing on a single screen somewhere.

In UK cinemas this month

Wednesday 3 June

  • Masters of the Universe (2026). Prince Adam returns to his war-torn homeworld of Eternia after fifteen years apart to find it consumed by Skeletor's tyranny, forcing him to reclaim his birthright as He-Man and unite with old companions to liberate his family and realm. Action starring Nicholas Galitzine and Camila Mendes.

Friday 5 June

  • Scary Movie (2026). Two and a half decades after surviving an encounter with a masked murderer, the original survivors find themselves targeted once again as the killer returns to terrorise them and expand his killing spree across multiple horror film franchises. Comedy starring Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans.

Wednesday 10 June

  • Disclosure Day (2026). A thought experiment unfolds as the world grapples with the revelation of extraterrestrial life and confronts what such a discovery would mean for humanity. Mystery starring Emily Blunt and Josh O'Connor.

Friday 26 June

  • The Furious (2026). A grieving father and an investigative journalist team up to rescue their missing loved ones from a criminal syndicate after the authorities prove unhelpful, leading to a violent confrontation with the kidnappers. Hong Kong action starring Xie Miao and Joe Taslim.
  • Supergirl (2026). Supergirl embarks on an intergalactic quest for vengeance alongside an unexpected ally after a brutal enemy threatens everything she holds dear. Action starring Milly Alcock and Matthias Schoenaerts.

Cinema schedules have a habit of shifting, so do check your local listings before you head out. Enjoy the big screen.
