Here is what is worth keeping an eye on at the cinema across the UK in August 2026. I have stuck to the releases most people will actually have on their radar, the bigger titles and the ones building a real head of steam, rather than listing every last thing playing on a single screen somewhere.

The Paw Patrol crew crash-lands on an uncharted island inhabited by dinosaurs, where they join forces with a new pup named Rex to prevent Humdinger's mining operation from awakening a dormant volcano. • Ice Cream Man (2026). A peaceful seaside community turns sinister when a seemingly innocent ice cream vendor begins distributing frozen treats that produce terrifying consequences for the children who consume them. Canadian horror starring Ari Millen and Charlie Zeltzer.

• The End of Oak Street (2026).
